| Man, I have been so busy lately... got caught up doing reviews at work
only to find out a couple of days later that my grandmother in Korea
had passed away.
So Kevin, I, and my mother went on an emergency trip to Korea two Fridays ago and just got back last nite.

The Follicular Phase of the Menstrual Cycle:
The follicular phase lasts about 10 to 14 days, beginning with the
first day of menstruation and lasting until the LH surge. During
the follicular phase, the hypothalamus, which is an area of your brain,
releases gonadotropin releasing hormone. This hormone tell the
pituitary gland, located at the base of your brain, to release follicle
stimulating hormone (FSH). FSH stimulates, or triggers, the
development of several follicles in your ovaries. These follicles
contain immature eggs. One of these follicles will become the
dominant follicle and its egg will begin to mature. The other
follicles that were stimulated stop developing, and their eggs undergo
atresia. The dominant follicle increases in size and secretes,
or sends out, estrogen into the bloodstream. The rising levels of
estrogen cause the hypothalamus and pituitary to slow down the
production of FSH.

It is so mindblowing how the human body functions. How the
increased release of FSH drives the growth of an egg but is also
paradoxically balanced by its own growth as the developing egg secretes increased
estrogen to slow down production of FSH.
Amazing how we have been created and infused with mechanisms that
balance our functions towards progress. Just as our art is our
creativity expressed by our souls, our bodies are merely a microcosm of
the infinite creativity expressed by an infinite soul. A
creativity that has designed us for progress.
Infertility happens because as women get older, their ovaries become
desensitized and respond poorly to FSH and LH. High, unbalanced levels of FSH
in the bloodstream indicate increased infertility as the body tries to
produce more and more FSH in an attempt to jumpstart egg development.
Maybe there is something we can learn from this. That progress
will occur when a balance is achieved. That with every growth
further develops a seed to inhibit that growth in nature. A
natural
balancing mechanism. Perhaps progress in our lives depends on how
well we balance ourselves by remaining sensitive to natural balancing
mechanisms in our lives...
How amazing the female reproductive system is...perhaps its true, that man was created before woman....for practice...
